  • Liveness selfie
  • Device metadata used to prevent fraud
These files are encrypted at rest and never shown to other users.

1.4 Behavioral & Usage Data

Used to improve recommendations and detect spam:
  • Chat engagement patterns (message length, reciprocity, not content of private chats for training)
  • Feature usage events
  • Anonymous analytics (app performance, crashes, device type)

1.5 Social Feed Content

Posts, likes, comments, and pokes.
Your profile identity is hidden; only your hobby badges, personality headline, and theme are visible.

1.6 AI Interaction Data

When using AI tools:
  • Prompts (bio generator, rizz suggestions)
  • Uploaded photos for AI editing
  • Feedback signals
We do not use this data to train public models.
Your inputs remain private to your account and Blindly’s internal models.

4. Photo Privacy & Reveal System

Blindly’s signature feature is its mutual unlock system.
  • Photos stay encrypted until both users accept reveal.
  • If one user declines, no images are shared.
  • Once revealed, users can rate the match; ratings are private.
  • Revealed photos are never shown to anyone else or reused for public training.

5. Data Retention

We keep data only as long as needed:
  • Profile data: retained until account deletion
  • Verification data: minimal required duration for safety
  • Photos: fully removed upon deletion
  • Chat messages: deleted automatically when a match ends or a user deletes their account
  • AI-generated data: cleared with account deletion
You may request permanent deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights:
  • Access. Request a copy of your data.
  • Correction. Fix incorrect information.
  • Deletion. Delete your account and all related data.
  • Consent Withdrawal. Disable AI features or revoke permissions.

Blindly is strictly for users 18 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
